Summer Sangria Recipe

I cannot believe June is almost over. Tell me why the last 2 months have felt like we’ve been living in Seattle! We’re going on day 2 of pure sunshine and all of SoCal is “defrosting” emotionally lol. As the month closes I'm packing up my life to head to the Hamptons for the summer! Feels crazy to actually be doing this. A huge part of me is really excited because the family I'll be cooking for is FABULOUS! They are the most down-to-earth, lovely, funny, active, and FUN group... So that will be fun. But another side of me has absolutely no idea what’s in store, and I've spent the last 2 weeks daydreaming of every possible scenario that could come my way. Will I feel like Cinderella? Cooking away “locked up” in the dungeon of a kitchen for 12+ hours, only to sleep and repeat every day (I say “dungeon” knowing the house I'm going to is absolutely stunning, so take this analogy lightly lol).

I'm actually excited to be removed from my regular life. I'm in need of some “me time” and practicing self-love is always the way to go. Perhaps I'll read some good books, stretch daily, rest well, meet some awesome new people, hit the gym, make a ton of REELS for your entertainment and block out the noise that crows my everyday life.

Speaking of blocking the noise... Here’s a great Summer Sangria Recipe I know you’ll put to good use. We can sip them together; you wherever you are, and me, in the Hamptons basking in a multi-million dollar house. <3

I love you!

White Summer Sangria

2 bottles of Chardonnay

1 cup Brandy / Tequila / Vodka

1 cup Pineapple juice

1 can sprite

2 cups sliced strawberries

2 oranges, sliced

3 limes, sliced

To serve, pour over ice and top with sparkling water. You can make this Sangria up to 2 days ahead of time, so make a big pitcher and enjoy!

(Use the recipe loosely, you can use any white wine and any fruit juice... I encourage you to have fun with it and try something new)!
